Is the Manuscript for sale?Following publication of an article in the Mail on Sunday At some point Yes Offers are welcome and will be considered. However I do wish to subject the first missing page to a scientific technique known as Reflection Transformation Imaging. Who knows whether anything of substance will appear. 5 years ago when I first enquired about this technique the lady concerned seem very hopeful that something would be found. I decided not to proceed on the grounds that this was a technique in its infancy (its still less than 20 years old) and might develop and improve considerably over a short time frame. I may also try to find a linguistic analyst who can state in proffessional terms whether Wisden has imitated the style and techniques in the manuscript reports. It seems plain obvious to me that Wisden and or his editor have without any doubt used these reports as the model, the blueprint, the prototype whatever you want to call it as their guide. I know Wisden cricket reports from my own reading and from this first thought that the manuscript reports looked like Wisden, the problem being that from the diary entries the one person they could not be by was Wisden. Any positive or negative results of such analysis will be published on this site first and this page . Should the manuscript be offered for sale publicly it will be announced first on this page. There is a convenience to Ebay and I may decide that Ebay is the way. If this is the way I choose I will give 3 weeks notice of auction sale and auction the sale will be allowed to run for 10 days. If you wish to be kept informed please register your interest or periodically return to FAQs
